OPEN PASSE-PARTOUTS ~ CARD # 1– Wed., Sept. 10, 1-3 pm; Sat., Sept. 13, 10-12pm & 1-3pm
Design elegant cards by combining embossed corner and edge motifs with cutting techniques and paper of different colours.  We’ll be using stamps from the Artful Stamper; the baby card is the first and simplest of the three cards featuring this brass template.  Our popular “ Daisy Buggy” stamp used with pink printed paper will surely be a favorite way to welcome new babies.  Teacher - Bev

HARVEST FUN – Wed., Sept. 17, 1-3 pm; Sat., Sept. 20, 10-12pm & 1-3pm
This is a vellum piercing card class using Ornare stencils, our little pumpkin, small maple and aspen leaf stamps.  We will make 2 cards using fall colours of vellum and cardstock then watercolouring our embossed images.  These cards are perfect for any fall celebration – especially Thanksgiving Day. SNOWMAN SLEDDER – Wed., Sept. 24, 1-3 pm; Sat., Sept. 27, 10-12pm & 1-3pm
Everyone loves a snowman.  This cute little sledder is enjoying the thrill of racing downhill.  Watercolours, stamps and ripped paper make up this fun and happy Christmas card.  SPECIAL NOTE! The Stampshack and The Rubber Room are combining efforts with each offering a card making class using this new sledding stamp from this season’s Artful Stamper Christmas collection.  Teacher - Claudette

OCTOBER 2008

OPEN PASSE-PARTOUTS ~ CARD # 2 –Wed., Oct. 8, 1 – 3pm;  Sat., Oct. 11, 10-12pm & 1-3pm
We’ll use the same template for this card and like the first card and the third, the X-acto knife plays a major role.  This card features fall colours and a butterfly theme.  The Artful Stamper’s “Swallowtail” butterfly will be watercoloured with Tombow markers, cut out and then attached  to a stamped background using our “Butterflock “ stamp, making this an all occasion card.  Teacher - Bev

Alcohol Inks, embossing powders and an interesting watercolouring technique are combined to create this colorful and dimensional autumn greeting card.  A truly spectacular card.  Teacher – Claudette

MY THREE SNOWMEN – Wed., Oct. 22, 1-3pm;  Sat., Oct. 25 10-12pm  & 1-3pm
Featuring the new stamps from the Artful Stamper Christmas collection, “Snowman on Skates”, we will make three simple cards. NOVEMBER 2008

OPEN PASSE-PARTOUTS~CARD # 3 -  Wed., Nov. 5, 1-3pm; and Sat., Nov 8, 10-12 pm & 1-3 pm
The third card of this series is a Christmas card.  “French Horn” is a new image from the Artful Stamper and combined with “Music”, a background stamp, this card will really shine, especially since we are embossing the horn onto mirror gold cardstock and finishing it all off with a red flocked bow.  Teacher - Bev

PATIENT PUP – Wed., Nov. 12, 1-3pm; Sat., Nov. 15, 10-12 pm & 1-3 pm
The new “I’ve Been Good Too” stamp is used for this Christmas card featuring watercolouring with H2O’s, layering and pop-ups with a glittered background of our paw print stamp.  This card is a perfect card for any dog lover out there or any one else looking for a cute card.  Teacher – Mary Ellen
